Sky tech was contacted in early December 2016 and asked if we can provide a video with still shots to help them during an ongoing promotional drive?

After an initial consultation appointment, a risk assessment was undertaken with the client.

Once complete our cameramen and pilots began planning the shoot.

​

The platform used was a Phantom 3 Standard edition with a  2.7K video, at 30 frames per second and a maximum of 40 Mbps and stills at 12 megapixel JPEG. 

Stills camera used was a Nikon d3200 & d600 with lenses up to 500mm. 

TOWER Inspection:

A local internet provider approached Sky Tech EA asking for a 'quick' visual inspection of specific sections of a transmission tower in a part of a city where access was limited.

Our initial inspection of the site was also limited for varying reasons so the pilot and Camera man had quite a job conducting the risk assessment.

A detailed drawing of the sections to be inspected were given to us to commence the work.
